A headache woke me up from a nightmare (crashing helicopter) around midnight. It was the worst headache I’ve ever had, including hangovers. So I stumbled around blind looking for a pain pill, found one, took it, went back to bed and waited for it to kick in. It eventually must have, because the alarm woke me up this morning from another nightmare (boy paralyzed in dirt bike accident).

Have you asked your local health food store / herbalist for Feverfew yet? ~600mg once a day before bed (or in the morning – no side effects. well ok I get a pleasant little kick from it, mood elevation, but maybe that’s just my migraine receding) will keep you from getting those. Probably.
local health food stores don’t carry that stuff here, you have to go to pharmacies, and I doubt they’d have it. i’ll check when we go to the states in a couple weeks. if i can remember.

oh, and the dreams – i’ve had worse, but going over the symbols in this one, they seem so simple and *nothing* on the surface, but what i ended up with there matched my situation closely.
