El Tango

Cha-cha-cha. We danced the chachacha, man. Then we learned the tango. We started to learn the tango, at least. Until then, I had only stepped on other people’s toes in dance class – women would squeal and give me dirty looks on the crowded dance floor. But “tango” is Argentine slang, it turns out, for “toe stepping dance”. Alpha has two bruises on one of her feet and blames me. I think she’s not moving her feet enough, but she’s not buying that. Other than that, tango is also fun – it helps to imagine yourself with black hair brilliantined back, or a rose in your teeth, depending.

  1. Well, technically she’s not moving her feet out of the way of your’s fast enough.

And I hope you aren’t messing up her pretty red shoes.

  2. Cha cha! I love the cha cha.

Melly’s probably right, but in Alpha’s defense, it’s hard to take really LARGE steps backwards. You might try shortening your stride a bit next time. ;)
