we don’t receive bbc too well here in austria, what’d they say? i read an article in the japan times yesterday about ritter, which claimed that he’d advocated military action against iraq after his inspection duty there in 1998, and questioned why he’d changed his mind, and sort of insinuated that his filming a documentary there for al-jazeera (?) financed (?) by a pro-saddam iraqi businessman who lives in the states somewhere, michigan maybe (?) might have played a role. anyone else hear about that?
i heard this view of things from scott ritter in a recent interview with derek watts on a local infotainment program, ‘carte blanche’.
however, the most recent response from the british government, as reported on the bbc today, does raise a whole lot of issues
what you think?
