Waxing question

When you wax over tattoos, is it ever like when you go over the Sunday funnies with Silly Putty?

  1. Well, sort of but the reverse. All the shed skin cells go away with the wax, leaving the bright shiny pigmenty layer behind. If you used too much / too hot, you could probably grab some ink. Ew.

When your tattoo heals, if you’re very, very careful, you can pull of one big scab/slough. It’s like peeling from a sunburn.

I once peeled off an entire tattoo skin flake and gave it to a friend. This was perfectly reasonable behavior in a nightclub in like ’86. ;D

  2. Good thing I had a light lunch, Jessica…ewwwww!
