a lot of things are making me sick right now. what i was trying to say in this post was just… i remember a time when… shit. how jaded are we? i’m not going to watch footage of someone dying. that’s the most obscene thing i can imagine. it makes me want to just say fuck the whole thing. sorry if i offended you, sue, it was not meant to offend.

Let’s be realistic. Has humanity really gotten any worse? I’m sure those sort of films were always around – they were just harder to find before. And before film, you could just hang around Athens, and watch some fellas get fed to lions! Now there’s some entertainment!
And of course, at the same time, there’s been the champions of the species, the ones who restore your faith in mankind, the ones who make you a little less ashamed to associate yourself with the most destructive life form this planet’s ever been faced with.
