I just heard on Twitter that google was to acquire Twitter; I googled to find out whether it was true, and apparently it is.

are you gonna still twitter? i’m bored with it already, and the sell out thing turns me off. i’m all for profit; good for them. it just kinda kills the fun. flickr got so boring after it was acquired by yahooo!.
