but is it true that kylie minogue doesn’t want to be a sex symbol any more?

  2. If you were a matriarchy, would you be patrilineal? Not so much. That’d mean that the male side of your parentage was the most important, was how the power was passed down; if that was how it worked, you’d never get around to the matriarchy part. At least not enough to get documented in history books.

Matrilineal patriarchy, though, that happens all the time: just like male pattern baldness, what defines your family line is passed down to you from your mother’s father. She doesn’t get to enjoy any of the power, though. At least, not on paper.

I don’t know wtf mural topics are supposed to tell you about Minoan culture and whether it was ruled by masculine or feminine forces (it’s bigger than just kind or queen, tho). For that stuff we usually look at sculpture.
    Seriously.
If it’s got a big old schlong, probably they had a king.
If it’s a hot chick (and/or a swollenly pregnant) that’s on display, you can bet there was a queenly type getting the adoration of the masses. If there’s lunar symbology, say like a crescent horned headdress, like you tend to find on those bad-assed Minoan babes left to posterity, there again you’re probably looking at least at something matrilineal.
    ;-*
