I actually received a flat stanley in the mail a couple months back, but mine was from a school in a Seattle suburb. He spent a day with me and then we sent his friends a postcard telling them about it. ‘Twas fun!
I have fond memories of reading Flat Stanley as a child. He was flattened, if memory serves, by a bulletin board that fell upon him while he slept.
His parents had to slide him under the bathroom door. I further recall wondering why they didn’t just open the door for him, but I imagine that is what they mean by poetic license.
George, or Chester?

Not even flat stanley knows where the vice president is. This is more a mystery than we had previously imagined! Bahahahhahahahaha
