Our cat was hunting birds on our roof this morning, and fell off. It was about a 15 foot drop. He landed in the mother of all wading pools, though, so was not injured, although he did have a tough time putting an elegant spin on the incident.
I can see it now: Stalk, stalk, leap, GAH!, flail, yowl, splash, spit, hiss, paddle, soggy leap, splat, mutter, lick, groom, fluff, “I meant to do that.”

Yikes! Glad he’s ok. I have a cat who quite possibly would do something like that on purpose. She has a strange attraction to water :)
He’s just showing that he’s “part tiger.”
