Hey, this will be my daughters second year with Nanowrimo. (She also did the script in a month version). So far, no best sellers, but she is only 14, that guy who wrote Eragon didn’t write a best seller until he was 18, so I’m cutting her some slack.
I’m thinking Pew-Pew-Pew! is an excellent possibility for opening sentence. Call me Pew-Pew-Pew! Lasers!

i first read that sentence in a list of runners-up in a bad writing contest i now can’t find, otherwise i’d link it. all i know is, it wasn’t the bulwer lytton.
