Eh, turns out they broke a bunch of junk in the yard and Gamma picked a bucket of blueberry blossoms, which means they won’t be ripening into actual berries this year. Could be worse, I suppose. When his mom picked him up, she was like, “Really? They played nice?” She didn’t seem to believe me, but I hated to tell on the kid his first time under my “supervision” and all, especially since Gamma was at least half responsible. Maybe they wreak havoc when they play at his house too.
