Brendan mentioned, yesterday, how he could remember when our (just now hinting at the first tiny buds of growth for 2004) fig tree was sprouting leaves for the new season, and it seemed like it was just a month ago. He’s 28, and got from me his first “time really does seem to progress exponentially faster from here on” talk.
It was the first time I’d given one.
Yipe.
Anyway, I can’t believe you went to McDonald’s and didn’t get a Hot Apple Pie(tm). My cousin gave us a book of $1 coupons for Christmas (this is but one of the reasons we don’t do big family gift exchanges any more), a few years ago, and we use them to buy HAPs, and maybe a soda, when on road trips and wishing to make use of their facilities.
