I am hopeful that people will write and make art and keep loving and listen to music and watch their children grow and, at the same time, I feel hopeless. Not in a dramatic way. Just existentially. Which is probably the fact people are trying to move beyond. If you are a loud enough asshole you can live forever? Oh well, I do hope your Thanksgiving was cozy and spent with those you love.
