Well, the Swedish definition of a beach is quite different from an American definition. There is no sand, no nice gradual descent into blue-green water. It’s just trees, then smooth rocks and if you step into the water, a sheer dropoff into the icy depths.

But it sure is picturesque, in a Swedish kind of way.
