this is a link i’m going to save in my delicious. it’s exactly the sort of information i want to have in case the amazing every happens and i ever manage to visit paris, because it sounds like exactly what i want to do.

Mig thanks ever so much for the vicarious tour of Paris. I have never been and always wished to go. So beautiful. I too love the moon shining in the daylight. My Mother calls such moons “children’s moon” and the sight of one requires much dancing around and pointing in our family. So named, I suppose, because kids are still awake to enjoy them. Such lovely photos. Many thanks.

Last summer a friend and I spent the night in Paris. This was courtesy of the airline which was running way behind and had to put up a dozen or so people for the night.

The airlines use a spotlessly clean little motel very close by. The beds are very comfortable, and the food is plain but good. It, of course, costs the passenger nothing.

If I am to visit Paris, I much prefer the type of trip y’all had.

the photo of shadow-on-sidewalk looks like the many awkward pics i take of my own shadow-on-sidewalk, which kinda freaked me out for a minute because GAH! what am i doing on the streets of Paris? these are wonderful. the Eiffel *is* awesome.

Excellent photos. I took several of the same shots on our trip, but yours look better. I’m glad you took the time to see Sainte Chappelle, we thought it was much more beautiful inside than Notre Dame, which was so dark and crypt-like. Glad you had a good trip.
