		<description><![CDATA[When I was young, my small brother&#039;s best friend kept swans as pets; his parents raised them and clipped their wings so they couldn&#039;t escape their pen in the back yard.

Unfortunately, there were also foxes in the neighboring widerness, and the mother fox knew exactly where to bring her pups every year that they might learn to hunt where their prey could not escape.  Foxes being far better jumpers than swans, the fence was no obstacle; carnage erupted every spring.

Ah, childhood!
