my dreams have been bad lately. i had one last night of a blasted world, my backyard was covered in grass so dead and matted that it formed a hollow hill with stagnant water underneath; beta and i were going to crawl through an opening and swim but the water was just too gross and a ferret scurried between my legs.

and in a second dream, i was in this sunken octagonal room, like an elevator shaft with a door about 6 feet up that i couldn’t really get to. the walls were covered with drawers about two inches high and a foot or so wide, similar to what you see in a european pharmacy, and someone (i?) pulled out one drawer, or one opened anyway, and all these little insects, black and shiny and with many legs and about a quarter of an inch long, came swarming out, and ate me, Mummy/scarab style. or they would’ve, but i woke up going, “what is it with my dreams?” i had another one recently where i killed two flaky guys and woke up wondering how to keep my father from finding out.
