and yeltsin, well this was back shortly before he came to power. gorbachev was still in office and yeltsin had not bodyguards, yet. he was wandering around the airport all alone waiting for a flight. navy blue suit, tall guy with silver hair, better looking in person than you’d expect, especially back then when his liver still functioned. i promise to come up with a fair list someday, actually containing lies etc.
