Neither Brendan nor myself had fathers, much.  Mine went underground when I was 6, having left when I was 1 1/2, and reappared about 10 years ago.  It&#039;s not quite fair when parents reappear when you&#039;re an adult: you have no idea what, if anything (and there is something) you need from them, but they are right there asking you, usually  for forgiveness. Which you give, which: feh.
B&#039;s father is a more complicated story.
And don&#039;t let&#039;s start on our moms.  We worry that our kid/s won&#039;t have solid grandparent figures.  I bet we can rustle up a Peasant for them, though.
