The trouble with roosters, you see, (at least the roosters we&#039;ve had) is that they start crowing long before the sun actually rises. And then they just keep going and going, because they know that if they crow long enough, the sun will eventually come up.

Or my dad will come out with the shotgun after the eighth straight day of the roosters beginning to crow at 3 a.m. One of the two.
