I’m exhausted just reading about the process. Couldn’t you just keep it low-tech and cut out some of the hurdles you’re creating for yourself? (And as a longtime denizen of a therapist’s office, I really do get that there are all kinds of hurdles and even those that may sound simple or silly to others can be huge and insurmountable for me/you/the person requiring therapizing, so i’ll just shut up now. But I do miss the bgu.)

k here is what happened to the bgu: i saw a therapist and stopped feeling buglike. it was a good feeling, although i missed the bug. then i got busy, plus my scanner broke. the scanner is of central importance, because the bug requires drawing teh figures, then scanning in, photoshopping them and adding the text. one cartoon takes hours the way i do it. then i got my scanner fixed, also i started feeling buglike again. so i wrote down notes for a dozen new strips, but have not yet gotten started on them (beyond drawing a few, i have done that) due to the knowledtge that one will take hours and i’m still busy. but i miss the cartoons too and hope to get started soon. another barrier besides my usual procrastination and the time it takes is teh feeling that the bug website needs an overhaul, plus i’d like to either format the cartoons in a single image made up of the four frames or as a flash thing, and i don’t know how to do flash. so maybe a single jpg image would be best, plus a smaller jpg for the preview (first frame) image. or something, to make it easier for people to link to. (although the flash idea was first of all for the coolness of presentation (?) and to make it harder for people to steal images and put them on their own site, which happened once or twice (only, so maybe not worth the trouble)

This (eye-rolling kid scenario) sounds sorta like a cartoon called “Teh Bug” that I used to love.

wow, so she was on labor day, .. at least on labor day anywhere else but the US…
and she is a taurus… ouch.. at least that is my experience with my mom and my husband :) ouch in a good way..headstrong, persistent, loyal, can keep a grudge…(even though I don’t believe in horoscopes much there is something vaguely true about them)

in this case, a while ago is roughly yesterday or so. or, hang on. her birthday is may first, so she can’t have said exactly a week. hell, what’s the date today? jeeze. she must have said exactly three weeks, or exactly a month, or something.

i blame the muscle relaxants.

From what you’re saying, it sounds like Gamma’s birthday must be near my sister Audrey’s (April 7), or mine (April 9); my daughter Diana was born April 13, 45 minutes after I got to the hospital. My granddaughter, Alilia, turned 11 on March 4 of this year, but she is now living in Seattle with her father, so I haven’t seen her in awhile.
