Moleskin cahier pocket plain notebook… I have it on good authority that they’re good for sketching, fit in your pocket, and survive drops from distance much better than a camera without losing focus. Use it as a backup for the new camera! Sorry to hear about your worms.

When we see “clouds” over our neighbors’ houses here in the greater Los Angeles area, it frequently is smoke, from the brush fires, made much worse this year by the lack of rain, very likely from the global warming/climate change thing…have we actually managed to wreck our still partially beautiful planet?

It was the running sushi place nearest to my house, yeah. They also have a Chinese buffet that the running sushi price entitles you to; buffet alone is slightly cheaper. Lunch is quite a bit cheaper than dinner.

Was that the running sushi place in your hometown? My ladies were there recently and said it was good and inexpensive.
