Morning is the best time. My husband’s job is to set up the espresso machine so that all I do in the morning is press the button, and bring the cups back to the bed. Sometimes he forgets, so when he does I give him the red cup with the nun picture on it that says, “I feel a sin coming on”, because I know he hates this mug. But it doesn’t strongly impact his ability to remember to do the machine the night before. Nonetheless, that 1/2 hour in the bed drinking coffee and being goofy is the best of the day, and when I wake up in the night and it says 5:03 I say, “Yay, only 3 hours until coffee!” and that means it’s a good marriage.

Kill them aphids – naturally. Get yerself some ladybugs…1500 will cost only about $20 and they naturally replenish because the bunch always includes manlybugs too.

Yes, I enjoy it too: getting up at 5:00 AM so I have time to enjoy my homemade cocoa while reading the LA Times and watching CNN before others want to turn cartoons on; having time to do computer stuff (yes, including reading your blog, mig), before I have to start getting ready for work.

Mornings are a love/hate thing with me. Sometimes I think it’s the best part of the whole day- but I’m not a morning person by nature so it has to be on my terms.

You owe yourself a better view of the sunrise ;-)

And they do get up early, don’t they? When we’re in Austria, husband gets up at 5;45. When we’re in the US, I get up at 5:45.
