Ooo! Thought I, better get it and take it with me, only to bring it back to London afterwards. (Works out cheaper that way)

Then the terrorist thing happened.

No liquids allowed onboard. Did I trust the baggage throwers not to smash it and soak my clothes in very nice single malt? Not a chance.

So I left it in Seattle with an estranged American who thinks he’s Scottish who toasted my health from afar.

Still had the receipt though so I expensed it.
