I thought of you on this day.

I was riding in a taxi with a blind driver and my whole family and cat from Schwechat to Vienna. The roads were totally treacherous, but everybody was hauling ass. I was wondering which roads you take on your commute and, as this was during the rush hour, wondered if you’d said “fuck it” and not tried to brave the mess.

“An accident,” said my driver, pointing ahead and squinting at the bright tail lights growing before us.

“Normally, the snow is gone, but they told the people for sunny day today.

That happens to me too…I lay big plans to splurge when the family is gone and then when they actually do leave…I’m adrift.
