For 12 years he has tried to talk to me first thing in the morning. He has yet to grasp that I Cannot Talk In The Morning and I don’t particularly want to listen. I just want to sit there, doing my thing, trying to make my brain work, contemplating if I really want to live. His chatty, sparkling AM conversation has the same affect as sandpaper rubbed on my butt.

If there were another way to start days besides mornings, I’d be there.
